DPI Robotics Club proudly inaugurated the DPIRC Basic Robotics Course in inaugural programme – Session 01 today, marking the beginning of a new era for students eager to explore robotics and technology.The inaugural programme, conducted via Google Meet, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and club advisors. The session was graced by Habibur Rahman Sir, Principal of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute and Senior Advisor of DPI Robotics Club, as the Chief Guest
.In his inspiring speech, the Chief Guest encouraged students to embrace innovation, hands-on learning, and technological exploration. Following the speech, the course was officially inaugurated, signaling the start of a comprehensive learning journey in robotics.Several club advisors and moderators also addressed the participants, providing valuable guidance and motivational insights to help students maximize their learning experience.
The first session, “Introduction to Robotics”, was led by Shifatun Nabi, a faculty member from Electrical Technology, Dhaka Polytechnic Institute. Students were introduced to the fundamentals of robotics, electronics basics, sensors, actuators, and microcontroller concepts.
This course aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, laying a strong foundation for future robotics projects and innovation challenges.
The DPIRC Basic Robotics Course continues to remain open for students and enthusiasts, encouraging participation and fostering a culture of technological curiosity and problem-solving.
